I think you can take them out of the rubber trim... after that you can look at changing the unit out or the bulb.
They use different taillights in these trailers at different times. Most are mounted in rubber mounts and push out. You just replace the plastic unit that pushes out. You also may want to do both at the same time as there are new LED replacement units out now that are far better and brighter than the old ones. I just built a 50 foot in closed -NAS CAR TRAILER - and used all LED lights in it and you can see a big difference..
